The International Indian Icon (3iii), launched by Gee Vision Inc., is a unique, global talent competition designed to celebrate and elevate Indian performers across various artistic categories. What sets 3iii apart is its innovative hybrid model—combining online and on-site participation—which breaks down geographic barriers and enables Indian talent from around the world to compete on a truly international stage.

Season 3 Highlights – 3iii 2019

Global Expansion to Australia and Africa

Season 3 marked a significant milestone in the journey of International Indian Icon (3iii) with its successful launch in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Africa, and South Africa. This expansion brought the unique global 3iii platform to Indian talent across the Australia and Africa continents, offering them the opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage. The response was overwhelming, as the Indian diaspora embraced this long-awaited chance to compete globally.

Introduction of Age-Based Talent Groups

A key enhancement in 3iii 2019 – Season 3 was the introduction of three distinct age groups. This change was driven by feedback from around the world, highlighting the challenge of having a 6-year-old compete against a 55-year-old. Recognizing the validity of these concerns, the 3iii Advisory Board unanimously approved the creation of age-specific categories—ensuring fair and inclusive competition without any lower or upper age restrictions.

This inclusive approach led to a record-setting season, with the youngest participant just 3 years old and the oldest an inspiring 82, making Season 3 a landmark in talent show history.

1. Junior < 19 Years  
2. 19 Years < Senior <= 55 Years
3. Super Senior > 55 Years

Building on the success of Season 2, 3iii 2019 experienced remarkable growth in both its international reach and participant engagement. The competition broadened its footprint across multiple continents, countries, and regions, while embracing talent from all age groups and performance categories, solidifying its reputation as a truly inclusive and global platform.

Judging Criteria and Evaluation Process

Participants were judged based on specific criteria tailored to their respective categories.

General Judging Parameters

• Singing: Vocal ability, melody, rhythm, emotional depth, and presentation.
• Dancing: Choreography, technique, synchronization, expressions, and stage presence.
• Instruments: Creativity, technical execution, synchronization, and engagement.
• Acting: Dialogue delivery, expressions, stage presence, and confidence.
• Pageant: Appearance, confidence, modeling skills, and intelligence.
• Comedy: Comic timing, originality, delivery, and stage engagement.
• I Got Talent: Uniqueness, creativity, and entertainment value​.

Celebrity Judges – Season 3 (2019)

3iii was honored to welcome an iconic lineup of celebrity judges in Season 3. The competition proudly featured Bollywood music legend Jatin Pandit, renowned for composing timeless hits for blockbuster films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, as the Grand Master.

He was joined by Bollywood playback singer Anupama Srivastava, lending her expertise to the singing category, and the dynamic dance duo Poonam and Priyanka—also known as The Sha Rwins—who brought their signature energy and flair as Dance Judges, representing Chicago, USA.

A total of 156 semifinalists from countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, and Australia traveled to Chicago to participate in the Season 3 episode production. A highlight of the event was the presence of grandmaster Jatin Pandit, who surprised participants with an impromptu workshop, sharing invaluable singing tips to help them shine in the competition.
