3iii RULES 

International Indian Icon rules are simple and strict at the same time. These rules are curated, keeping in mind the up and downs of competition, participant, and registration process. Gee Vision Inc. and the responsible spokesperson (s) hold the right to change in the terms and conditions following the circumstantial evidences.

  1. All the rules of 3iii are the same for each and every participant around the world
  2. On-line/on-site fees for 3iii audition is non-refundable
  3. Anyone who can sing, dance, or showcase their talent by any other Indian essence can participate in the 3iii competition, also, those who are married to an Indian or love the Indian culture and art style can also participate
  4. Any Indian can participate in the competition with any skill, art to talent
  5. Submission dates for 3iii 2019 calendar dates should be followed strictly
  6. Gee Vision Inc. (Gee) holds the power and right to change, add or eliminate any or all rules, requirements or conditions related to 3iii competition at any time period as per the convenience of Gee vision Inc.
  7. Any participant cannot do not hold the right to sue Gee in any country or jurisdiction
  8. Gee has the right reserved to delete any or every video/pictures uploaded on the 3iii website, in any TV clip, promotion, advertisement, social media campaign or in any other promotional trick in any country worldwide
  9. The winners of International Indian Icon are bound to enter into a contract regarding promotion, shows, video, advertisement, photography etc.
  10. All the contracts that are to be signed by the winners of 3iii regarding any promotion or performances go through Gee before the signing
  11. All the T&Cs are to be accepted by the participant and once the registration is completed, they are legally bound to all the terms and conditions at the time of on-line registration on 3iii website  www.3iii.us or www.INTERNATIONALindianICON.com
  12. All the participants attending on-site events of 3iii are required to sign the paper agreement before their performances
  13. All the decisions by Gee are ultimate and cannot be challenged in any court of law in any country
  14. All the copyright responsibilities are to be borne by the participants
  15. If an episode of any level is decided to be shot in one of the 3iii countries then all the logistics are supposed to be borne by the performers themselves
  16. For the Grand finale, Participants have to travel to Chicago on their own expenses. All the logistics are supposed to be managed by the participant
  17. All the results of 3iii 2019 calendar will be published on the 3iii website
  18. All the announcement related to the selection or rejection of any participant will be done via their registered e-mail address so it is important for the candidates to make sure that they keep their profiles up-to-date
  19. Regardless of the number of registrations, on-line events will be carried-on on each and every level of the competition as per the rules and regulations
  20. If the ICON state receives less than 20 registrations in each of the 7 categories, then they will be transferred to the closet ICON state
  21. According to the number of registration of participants in an ICON state, ICON country or ICON Continent, the 3iii event details will be declared on-line or on-site
  22. Event locations and dates will be declared to the participants by the end of June
  23. In case a state gets more than 100 registration, it will be entitled as an ICON state
  24. In case a country receives more than 100 registrations in any category, then it will be considered as an ICON Country
  25. The 3iii episodes and grand-finale will be decided to be hosted on-line or on-site depending on the number of Global Paid registrations. Although, in all the scenarios, on-line events are bound to hold in every level
  26. VIDEO
    1. All participants must upload their competition video in their 3iii dashboard
    2. The quality of the uploaded Video is a major factor in the overall selection or judgment of a participant. If the video and song do not match each other or if the judges cannot watch the performance properly then the participant will not get a judgment that they should have received
    3. Some important things to remember before submitting a competitive video
      1. The video should be recorded with a good camera that should be in a resolution of 720p or higher and must be in HD quality
      2. The Video should not have any sort of manipulations which means no VFX work or editing is to be included if any tempering is found in the video, the participant will be rejected immediately without any explanation
      3. The video must reach the time frame of 3 minutes and should not exceed 4-minute mark, a couple of seconds more or less are acceptable
      4. The video should be recorded in one shot and should be recorded in ample lighting
      5. The video file is supposed to be one of the two which are MP4 or ProRes (.mov) codecs
      6. All the videos are to be directly uploaded on the dashboard of the participants by them through mobile, desktop or laptop
      7. YouTube link is also considered but it is advised to post the video directly on the 3iii dashboard
    4. Introduction video
      1. An Introduction video is required from every participant
      2. Competition video can have a section of Introduction which can be of 30 secs at max. also, separate intro video of 30 secs to 1 minute can be uploaded on the dashboard
      3. Introduction Guidelines
        1. Introduce yourself (Name, Age, City, State, Country, Education)
        2. A Little bit about yourself, your family and what you do
        3. Why do you want to participate in 3iii and which category and why
        4. What makes you a unique participant in your category
        5. What would you like to do if you become an International Indian Icon
    5. Only one competition video is accepted other than that more than one non-competition video is allowed to be uploaded on the dashboard of a participant
    6. The Competitive Video is the only criteria on which candidates will be judged; all the other videos will be considered as Non-Competition
    7. Following are required at each 3iii level
      1. Participants are required to submit a competition video for 3iii competition of at least 3 and a maximum of 4 minutes. Once the submission date is missed out, you may not get a second chance to submit the video and you might get out of the competition
      2. A fixed time period is set for the submission of the video for each and every level which are updated in the 3iii 2019 calendar
      3. Once a participant is accepted for the next level, they will receive the information through e-mail
      4. Candidates will be notified through e-mail about the selection or rejection on the day of results
    8. All the video should include any objectionable or sexual content in the video, if any video is found to have such nature, the participant will be warned for the same or they might get debarred as per the discretion of Gee vision Inc.
    9. All the videos will become the property of Gee vision and will stay on the 3iii website as long as Gee decides
  27. Likes, Voting & judgment
    1. Likes
      1. Likes are not considered as selection criteria at any level
      2. Participants can promote their videos on various social media platform to bring it to the top of the list under ‘Most Popular Videos’ on the 3iii website home page
      3. All the videos are available to be liked by anyone but only once
      4. The ‘Most Popular Videos’ contains videos from all the previous seasons as well, you can search your video using your name or 3iii ID
    2. Voting/ Popularity
      1. Level-1:
        1. Voting is used to select 2 participants every month in every category for every ICON state to move them to Level-3. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 300 votes
        2. Voting is used to select 2 participants every month in every category for every ICON country to move them to Level-4. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 300 votes
      2. Level-2
        1. No voting
      3. Level-3
        1. Voting is used to select 1 participant every month in every category for every ICON state to move them to Level-4. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 400 votes
        2. Voting is not the criteria to select the winners, 1st and 2nd runner-ups for State Indian Icon or for quarter-finals
        3. NO voting is done in case of the State Indian Icon (Level-3) being an on-site event
      4. Level-4
        1. Voting is used to select one participant every month in every category for every ICON country to move them to Level-5. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 500 votes
        2. Voting is not the criteria to select the winners, 1st and 2nd runner-ups for Country Icon or for Semi-finals
        3. Participants who are competing for the ‘Most Popular Video’ challenge are required to submit a video for voting purposes which should be upload at least 2 weeks before the Grand-finale
      5. Participants can get votes from their family and friends but only once. Votes are given when the ‘Request Vote’ button is pressed. All the participants can promote their videos through social media platforms
        • Voting and selection will start as per the 3iii 2019 calendar
        • Participants have to pass all the 5 levels of competition to become an International Indian Icon
        • Gee judges can promote any candidate from one level to another as per their performances without any objections
        • All the competition videos are judged as per the defined criteria for each category of the Talent such as Singing, Dancing, and Instruments etc.
        • Participants are also judged according to the number of people performing in the performance such as solo, duet or group
        • Judges at Gee panel have all the rights to select or reject any participant at any level of the competition
  28. 3iii Challenger & Wild Card Entry
    1. Candidates with unique performances and talent can be presented in the show at any time as a wild card entry in the competition, also called as ‘Challengers’
    2. Gee Vision Inc. can open the wild card entry registration at any level with a specified registration fee for candidates with special talent
    3. Anyone can register as challengers by submitting required registration fee but only those with unique talent are moved forward
  29. Selection Process
    1. Voting/Popularity
      1. Popular participants are moved to the current next level as per their popularity
      2. Gee Judgment
        1. At Level-3 and Level-4, candidates are selected as by the decision of Gee Panel of judges and 3iii International Jury and not on the basis of votes or popularity
        2. Winners and runner-ups at level-5 are only decided by 3iii International Jury and Gee Panel of Judges
      3. Judges’ Choice
        1. Gee Panel of judges can promote any candidate from one level to another
      4. Level-1: Registration & Audition:
        1. 2 participants/3ions per category for every Icon state per month are moved forward to Level-3 on the popularity and voting basis during the registration period
        2. Participants who fail to make Level-3 based on votes are evaluated by the panel of 3iii International Jury and Gee Panel of judges Individually
          • Qualified participants will move on to Level-3
          • Deserving participants will be moved on to level-2 for another chance
          • Participants who do not meet the 3iii judgment criteria will be rejected at only Level-1
      5. Level-2: Re-Evaluation
        1. Participants selected for re-evaluation are required to submit competition video in the defined time period as per the 3iii 2019 Calendar
        2. 3iii International jury and Gee panel of Judges will evaluate and will either reject the candidate or will move them to Level-3
      6. Level-3: State Indian Icon (Quarter-finals)
        1. One participant/3ion of every category for every ICON state is promoted forward to Level-4 on popularity basis. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 400 votes
        2. Winners (winner, 1st and 2nd runner-ups) are decided by 3ii International Jury Judgment and Gee Panel of Judges
      7. Level-4: Country Icon (Semi-Finals)
        1. One participant/3ion of every category for every ICON country is promoted forward to Level-5 on popularity basis. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 500 votes
        2. Winners (winner, 1st and 2nd runner-ups) are decided by 3ii International Jury Judgment and Gee Panel of Judges
      8. Level-5: International Indian Icon (Grand Finale)
        1. One participant/3ion is promoted forward to Grand-Finale on popularity basis. This popularity basis selection requires a minimum of 1000 votes
        2. Winners (winner, 1st and 2nd runner-ups) are decided by 3ii International Jury Judgment and Gee Panel of Judges
