3iii RULES

  1. 3iii rules remain same for all participants across the Globe.
  2. 3iii on-line / on-site audition fees is non-refundable.
  3. Anyone with any Indian talent or skill or art can participate
    1. Who can sing in any Indian language, can dance on any Indian dance format, can play any Indian Instrument, is married to an Indian, likes Indian art and culture like Indian dresses, Indian fashion etc. or has any connection with India or Indian art and culture etc.
  4. Any Indian with any talent or skill or art can participate
  5. 3iii rules are strict, make sure you follow 3iii 2019 Calendar dates for all submissions
  6. Gee Vision Inc. (Gee) holds and reserves the right to change any or all rules, conditions or anything related to International Indian Icon competition at any given point of time as deemed fit by Gee Vision Inc.
  7. Gee cannot be sued in any court of law in any Jurisdiction of any country by any participant or anyone associated to participants or by any 3iii associate or any one.
  8. Gee holds and reserves all rights to include or exclude any or all video's and pictures posted on international Indian Icon (3iii) website (www.InternationalIndianIcon.com or www.3iii.us ) in any TV episode, TV promotion, social media promotion, advertising or for any type of promotion on any type of media any time in any country.
  9. The winners of International Indian icon (Winner, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up of all categories) are bound by default to sign a contract for any promotion, show/performance, video, Photography, advertisement etc. through Gee Vision Inc. only.
  10. Any contract to be signed by winners of International Indian Icon related to entertainment performance/show in regards to promoting themselves have to go through Gee before signing.
  11. Participants will need to accept T&Cs at the time of registration and will be legally bind to T&Cs accepted at the time of on-line registration on any of 3iii website www.3iii.us or www.INTERNATIONALindianICON.com 
  12. Participants attending 3iii on-site events will need to sign paper agreement before they perform for 3iii competition.
  13. No one will have any right to challenge the Gee’s decision in any court of law of any Jurisdiction of any country.
  14. Participants will be responsible for any copy right legalities for their performance.
  15. If for any level, an episode shooting is decided in any city of 3iii country, Participants selected for that level will have to travel to that city for Episode shooting. Logistics will have to be taken care of by the participants themselves.
  16. Participants selected for 3iii Grand-finale will have to travel to Chicago (or the selected venue) for Episode shooting and Grand-finale on their own cost. All Logistics will have to be taken care of by the participants themselves.
  17. All 3iii results will be published on 3iii website as per 3iii 2019 Calendar on 3iii website.
  18. Participants will be informed of their selection/rejection via e-mail on their registered e-mail ID (E-mail in participant profile on 3iii website will only be used for all 3iii communication so please keep your e-mail address and cell # up to date on your 3iii profile.)
  19. Irrespective of No. of registrations, on-line competition will be conducted at each level as per defined rules and regulations.
  20. If any ICON State gets less than 20 registrations in any of the 7 categories, participants of that category will be moved to nearby ICON State.
  21. Depending on the number of participant registration of an ICON state, ICON Country, and ICON Continent, corresponding 3iii event of that state, country and continent will be decided on-site or on-line.
  22. Location and dates of all 3iii on-site events will be declared by end of June.
  23. If any state gets more than 100 registrations for any category, then that state may be declared as ICON State for that category.
  24. If any country gets more than 100 registrations for any category, then that country may be declared as ICON Country for that category.
  25. Depending on No. of Global paid registrations, 3iii Episodes Production & Grand-finale will be decided to host on-line or on-site. In any circumstances competition at all levels will be help on-line if not on-site
  26. VIDEO
    1. All participants are required to upload a competition video on their unique 3iii dashboard.
    2. Video Quality is a major judgment criterion for online judgement as if video recording (Sound & video) is not right then Judges cannot hear or watch video properly and may not be able to make right decision as per participant’s capability. Following should be remembered by participants for submitting videos for competition:
      1. Video should be in HD format at least in 720p or higher resolution
      2. It should be in Landscape formation
      3. No effects or VFX should be added to the video.
      4. Video should be in MP4 or ProRes (.mov) codec.
      5. The video should be referable recorded with a good camera and ample light.
      6. The video should be of high quality (preferably HD quality) and clear sound
      7. The video should be shot in one take
      8. No Editing: Video should not be manipulated or edited in any manner. Any video found manipulated/edited will be rejected without any explanations to the participant.
      9. The video should be of 3 to 4 minutes in length and should not exceed 4 minutes. Few secs more or less is ok.
      10. Upload your video directly from your 3iii dashboard from your laptop, desktop or phone.
      11. Preferably upload your video on 3iii Dashboard otherwise YouTube link is fine too. Gee may download your video and upload back on 3iii YouTube channel.
    3. Introduction or Intro Video
      1. Every 3ion/Participant has to submit one Intro Video
      2. Either 30 Secs (Not More than 30 Secs – less is fine) of your 1st Competition Video can be your introduction or you can upload a separate Introduction Video of around 30 secs to 1 Minute (Few secs more or less are fine).
      3. Introduction Guidelines
        1. Introduce yourself (Name, Age, City, State, Country, Education)
        2. Little bit about yourself, your family and what you do?
        3. Why do you want to participate in 3iii and which category and why?
        4. What makes you a unique participant in your category?
        5. What would you like to do if you become an International Indian Icon?
    4. You can upload more than one non-competition videos in your 3iii Dashboard, but only one of the uploaded videos can be submitted as a Competition (Comp) Video for voting and judgement at each level. Rest uploaded videos will be your Non-Competition (Non-Comp) videos.
    5. At each 3iii level
      1. Participant needs to submit a competition video. Participants are advised to keep minimum 3 to 5 videos ready for 3iii competition. If you miss the submission date, you may not get a second chance to submit video and may be out of competition.
      2. A fixed duration is given to upload the video at each level. Make sure you check 3iii 2019 Calendar for each level.
      3. When a participant move from one level to other, an e-mail will be sent to the participant on the e-mail address in his dashboard.
      4. On the result day, each participant gets an e-mail about selection or rejection.
    6. Any video uploaded should not have content of objectionable/sexual nature of any type (language, video, photography etc.). Any such video will be a call for the participant to be warned or debarred from the competition, on the sole discretion of Gee Vision Inc.
    7. All competition videos uploaded on International Indian Icon website shall be the property of Gee Vision Inc. and shall be on the 3iii website until Gee decides otherwise.
  27. LIKE, VOTING & JUDGMENT
    1. LIKE
      1. Likes are not used for selection process at any level.
      2. Participant will promote his/her video online using social media to get maximum likes to bring his/her video to top of the list under “Most Popular Videos” on 3iii website home page. Anyone can like any video but once.
      3. All videos of all seasons are listed under “Most Popular Videos” but you can search your video using your 3iii ID or name.
    2. VOTING/Popularity
      1. Level-1:
        1. Voting is used to select 2 participants per month per category per Icon State to move to Level-3 on popularity basis. Minimum 300 votes are required.  
        2. Voting is used to select 2 participants per month per category per Icon Country to move to Level-4 on popularity basis. Minimum 300 votes are required.  
      2. Level-2
        1. No Voting
      3. Level-3
        1. Voting is used to select 1 participant per category per Icon State to move to Level-4 on popularity basis. Minimum 400 votes are required.  
        2. Voting is NOT used to select Winners, 1st or 2nd Runner-ups for State Indian Icon / Quarter-finals.
        3. No voting if State Indian Icon (Level-3) is planned on-site
      4. Level-4
        1. Voting is used to select 1 participant per category per Icon Country to move to Level-5 on popularity basis. Minimum 500 votes are required.  
        2. Voting is NOT used to select Winners, 1st or 2nd Runner-ups for Country Icon / Semi-finals.
        3. No voting if Country Icon (Level-4) is planned on-site
      5. Level-5
        1. No voting if Grand-finale (Level-5) is on-site
        2. Voting to select 3iii Most Popular Icon on popularity Basis
        3. Participants who wants to compete for 3iii Most Popular Icon will need to submit a Video for Voting at least 2 weeks before Grand-finale.
      6. Participants can get their competition videos voted by family and friends by sharing the link by clicking on to the "Request Vote" button in their participant dashboard. Anyone can vote any comp video but only once. Participants promote their video online using social media to get maximum votes to move to next level on popularity basis. 
        • Voting and judgment will start and stop as 3iii 2019 Calendar.
        • Participants will have to go through all 5 level of competition to become an International Indian Icon.
        • Gee Panel of Judges has all rights to move any participant from any level to any level, depending on the performance of the participant. No one can have any objection on decision of Gee Panel of Judges.
        • All competition videos at all levels are judged as per pre-defined criteria for each talent category (Singing, Dance, Instruments etc.) and participation category (Solo, Duet, Group).
        • Gee Panel of Judges has all right to select or reject any participant at any level.
  28. 3iii Challenger & Wild Card Entry
    1. Candidates with unique talent/performance can be introduced (at the discretion of Gee Vision Inc.) as "Challengers" /" Wild Card Entry" in the show anytime at any level as deemed fit by Gee.
    2. Gee Vision Inc. can open Challenger registration at any level with specified registration fees to give opportunity to highly talented performers to become part of 3iii competition.
    3. Any one may be able to register as challenger by paying registration fees but only qualified challengers will be moved forward
  29. Selection Process
    1. Voting/Popularity
      1. Popular Participants at each level are moved to next level based on popularity
    2. Gee Judgment
      1. Winners, 1st & 2nd Runner-ups at level-3 and level-4 are decided by Gee Panel of Judgment & 3iii International Jury only NOT on voting/popularity basis and are moved to next level
      2. Winners, 1st and 2nd Runner-ups at level-5 are decided by Gee Panel of Judges and 3iii International Jury
    3. Judges’ Choice
      1. Gee Panel of judges may move any one to next level as Judge’s Choice.
    4. Level-1: Registration & Audition:
      1. 2 3ions/participants per category per Icon State per month (during Registration period) are moved to level-3 on voting/popularity basis
      2. Participants who could not move to level-3 based on voting will be evaluated individually by Gee Panel of Judges & 3iii International Jury
        1. qualified participants are to level-3
        2. participant deserving another chance will be moved to level-2 for re-evaluation
        3. 3ions/participants not meeting 3iii judgment criteria may be rejected at level-1 only
    5. Level-2: Re-evaluation
      1. Participants deserving reevaluation will need to submit Comp video at level-2 within defined time limit as per 3iii 2019 Calendar for re-evaluation
      2. Gee Panel of Judges and 3iii International Jury will evaluate and either move to level-3 or reject
    6. Level-3: State Indian Icon (Quarter-finals)
      1. One 3ion/participant per category per Icon State is moved to level-4 (Semi-final) based on popularity/voting (Needs minimum 400 Votes)
      2. Winner, 1st & 2nd Runner-ups are decided on the basis of Gee Panel of Judges & 3iii International Jury Judgment
    7. Level-4: Country Icon (Semi-finals)
      1. One 3ion/participant per category per Icon Country is moved to level-5 (Grand-finale) based on popularity/voting (Needs minimum 500 Votes)
      2. Winner, 1st & 2nd Runner-ups are decided on the basis of Gee Panel of Judges & 3iii International Jury Judgment
    8. Level-5: International Indian Icon (Grand-finale)
      1. One 3ion/participant is selected as 3iii Most Popular Icon based on popularity/voting (Needs minimum 1000 Votes)
      2. Winner, 1st & 2nd Runner-ups are decided on the basis of Gee Panel of Judges & 3iii International Jury Judgment
